This little boy I know has magical powers. Every now and again he utters just the right sentence and my heart bursts open. Of course, the random, unexpected hug does this effectively as well.
He comes on Mondays for his piano lesson. Today as he sat to play his first song, he looked at me and said, "I missed you!" Later in his lesson: "I'm so happy!"
He reminds me of the childlike innocence of unabashedly expressing your love. He is 5 and today, also my spiritual teacher.
